Wilcox Pass has to be the trail in the Rockies with the most bang for your buck. It’s super easy to reach (right off the Icefields Parkway), it’s short and easy, is insanely scenic and has almost guaranteed sightings of Bighorn Sheep. You can make into a longer day by pushing on up to the summit of Wilcox Peak, which gives you higher vantage point of the area and let’s you see more of the Athabasca Glacier. Another option is to continue along the pass. I have done this trail 3 times and each time was amazing.
