A really nice part about the Canadian Rockies is that there is incredible scenery that can be seen from the road. The Icefields Parkway between Lake Louise and Jasper is exceptionally scenic with huge glacial lakes, impressive mountains, the massive Athabasca Glacier and if you’re lucky, lots of wildlife. I’ve been fortunate to see bears, elk, bighorn sheep and even a pack of wolves crossing the road. I never get tired of driving it. Here are a few photos of some of the best sites.
