A great day hike starting on the Icefields Parkway, heading up to Helen Lake and then across rocky terrain to the summit of Cirque Peak where there are incredible panoramic views of peaks and icefields.
Round trip: 6-7 hours, 14 km and just over 1000 m elevation gain. The last section up to the peak is across steep, loose rock.
