This was day hike has a lot of bang for its buck and one of the best I have ever done. It starts at Maligne Lake and quickly climbs above the treeline to the Bald Hills, which are meadow covered rounded hills beside the lake which have commanding views of Maligne Lake and its impressive mountains. After the hike, I caught the last tour boat that went down the lake to Spirit Island.
