My friend Gav and I hiked the famous Overland Track in Tasmania (I think it took 5 days but it was a long time ago, so I’m not sure). It was really interesting area of fascinating rock formations, small mountains, forest and open moorland as well as lots of animals like wallabies, wombats and tiger snakes…but unfortunately no Tasmanian Devils. I really liked Tasmania because it had a rugged, wild character and very unique look and feel to it.
