This is one my favourite multi-day hikes in New Zealand. It’s easily accessed with bus connections from Queenstown and took 5 days, including a side trip to Cascade Saddle. It’s a fantastic trek with lots of varied scenery including grassy flats, forest, a gorgeous clear Dart River and the impressive Dart Glacier. An added bonus was the super cool Kiwi park ranger that was brewing his own beer in the closet of his hut and was kind enough to share some.
