Stewart Island a really cool island off the south tip of New Zealand. The Northwest Circuit is a 9 day hut to hut hike around a good chunk of it. After 9 days, I smelled so bad that I was offending myself.
It’s a muddy, wet trail through beaches, dunes, rainforest and rugged little mountains. I lucked out and saw a kiwi in the wild! Not a New Zealander, I mean the bird.
